Megadeth与Cacophony乐队前吉他手Marty Friedman透露了一些关于他的全新Solo专辑《Inferno》的信息，包括完整的曲目单。他同时还宣布在今年春季将与Firewind/Ozzy Osbourne乐队吉他手Gus G进行几次巡演。

这张专辑将在5月27日于Prosthetic唱片旗下在美国发行，它是在洛杉矶录制完成的，由Chris Rakestraw（Danzig，Children of Bodom）担任音频工程师，Jens Bogren担任混音师（Opeth, Amon Amarth）。Friedman告诉我们，这是他所创作和演奏得最为猛烈的一张专辑。

这张专辑的客串乐手有Rodrigo y Gabriela，Children of Bodom乐队的Alexi Laiho，Skyharbor乐队的Keshav Dhar和Revocation吉他手David Davidson。同时还收录了Friedman与Jason Becker在Cacophony乐队时期创作的早期作品。
