1972年,由Toy,与Tommy Caldwell兄弟领军组成的Marshall Tucker Band,在过去40多年中,虽然仍维持著老团名,歷经人事变迭,现在只剩下主唱Doug Gray是原始团员.这一支在南方摇滚类别中始终佔有重要一页地位的乐团,跟同样是70年代的南方摇滚乐团Allman Brothers或Lynyrd Skynyrd .等团比较,Marshall Tucker Band的音乐比较更倾向(laid back)感觉的 Country Rock.同时,是一支始终维持著有点儿土味的”家乡男孩”形象的队伍.
